How much does it cost to live in Korea
as a language course student?

Study related cost
Tuition fee for the language program:from 1,000,000 KRW per 10 weeks.In Seoul, the cost may be about 1,300,000 KRW per 10 weeks

Accomodation
Dormitory: from 190,000 KRW per month.Goshiwon (small private room): from 250,000 KRW per month.Other types of housing are more expensive.

Transportation
If you live close to the campus → no transportation costs needed.If you use public transportation: around 55,000 KRW per month or less (depends on the distance to the campus).

University application fee
Around 50,000 KRW.

Study materials
Around 78,000 KRW per semester

Health insurance
Around 70,000 KRW per month (mandatory)

Food
On average, students spend about 200,000 ~ 300,000 KRW and more per month on food. If you choose 3-4 weeks program, dinners already included in program cost

Mobile phone
